Water Leak

Hi,

 

I have just bought a ford Galaxy and found that there is water in the fron passenger seat flooring.

 

Most likley it is coming from the bonnet button cannot see any blockage.

 

Could anyone please help with very clear advise on how to fix problem.

 

I am very ney to the this site and have just become a member today.

undo 4-5 screws under wheel arch ( liner)

put hand up inside & feel by the bulk head for a square flap

pull it away & remove crap that's there

you should get water cumming out

now open bonnet & use water can to see if you have cleard it

do same other side

be more careful on drivers side as there are wirers there

But problem was rear wiper leak.

Fixed it now.

you will not get water there from the rear wiper or

was it the tube that came away under the door cill

at the fron't

 

glad you sorted it though

make sure the controll box under passenges seat is dry
